About CSUDH Office of International Education
Founded in 1960, California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is located in the heart of beautiful Southern California, minutes from local beaches such as Hermosa, Redondo, Malibu and Laguna beaches. We are about 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, world-famous Disneyland, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flag's Magic Mountain, Universal City Walk Hollywood and other famous Los Angeles area attractions. CSU Dominguez Hills is home to professional soccer and tennis stadiums, such as hosting Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy. More attractions are listed here.
The Office of International Education strives to internationalize the campus at CSUDH in several ways:
- By promoting study abroad opportunities for CSUDH students
- By conducting short and long term training and education for international students who wish to study at CSUDH
- By providing opportunities for CSUDH faculty to teach abroad
- By supporting faculty in developing short-term study abroad programs for students
- 4,000 students annually in more than 60 countries take part in CSUDH distance learning degrees, certificates and individual courses
