The CSUDH Police Department fully investigates all allegations of misconduct in compliance with California State Codes and the California Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act. This Complaint Form should be used exclusively to report misconduct by sworn Police Officers of the CSUDH Police Department. The Complaint Form shall be submitted to the CSUDH Police Department, located in James Welch Hall, Room B-100, within thirty (30) calendar days of the occurrence. Complaints submitted later than thirty days may be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
The Chief of Police will ensure all complaints are fully investigated. After an investigation, this agency may find that there is not enough evidence to warrant action on the complaint. The complainant will be notified in writing of the final disposition of the complaint investigation. However, any discipline imposed and the investigation itself must remain a confidential personnel matter.
