Re-apply for Housing

Housing Reapplication 

If you are currently living on campus for Fall 2024 and intend to continue living on campus for Spring 2025, you DO NOT need to submit an application for Spring semester. Your 2024-25 application and License Agreement already include Spring 2025 semester. If you plan to live on campus for Summer 2025 and Academic Year 2025-26, both applications will open on March 28, 2025.  

Winter Break Housing - December 17, 2024 - January 16, 2025: There is no additional cost for current residents to stay on campus during Winter Break; however, residents MUST notify Housing if they plan to be on or off campus during that time. Check your Toromail account for an email about Winter Break in early November.

NOTE: Current residents who re-apply for Housing do NOT have to pay another Security Deposit.

FALL 2024

- Thursday, August 22, 2024 for students NEW to CSUDH (first-year and transfer).

- Saturday, August 24, 2024 for continuing/returning CSUDH students.

SPRING 2025

- Friday, January 17, 2025 for ALL CSUDH students new to Housing.

Fall 2024 Move-Out Date

- Monday, December 16, 2024 (for residents not intending to live on campus for Spring 2025)

Winter Break

- Tuesday, December 17, 2024 - Thursday, January 16, 2025

Spring 2025 Move-Out Date

- Friday, May 16, 2025 for non-graduating students

- Sunday, May 18 for graduating students. 


All dates are subject to change.

Applications received after the above-noted priority dates may be waitlisted.


Immunization Requirements for Residential Students

As a reminder, effective Fall 2023, all students living on campus are REQUIRED to submit the following immunization documentation to the Student Health Center: 

  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) Vaccine
  • Meningococcal Conjugate (Serogroups A, C, Y, W-135) Vaccine
  • Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (Tdap) Vaccine
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Screening/Risk Assessment (click to download the form)
  • Hepatitis B (age 18 or younger)

Complete immunization records AND the TB Screening Form are REQUIRED for clearance to move into on-campus housing. 

All documents should be submitted to the Immunization Verification Dropbox.
