This panel of Black and Latinx librarians, curators and scholars will highlight how they expose unknown histories through their scholarly and professional work. They will discuss how they engage with audiences and ensure their stories are accurately and respectfully preserved. They seek to empower students to take "history-making" into their own hands.

格雷格•威廉姆斯, Director of the 格特档案 and 特殊的集合, recently presented at a virtual event co-sponsored by the Bibliographical Society (UK), 美国书目学会, and the Bibliographical Society of Canada in a presentation recorded as part of the "Documenting Social Movement: Bibliography, 档案与抗议."
The CSUDH 格特档案 and 特殊的集合, noted for its preservation of Southern California histories and cultures, has had three major developments toward its mission of making materials more accessible to the public.
在周六, 3月5日, leaders of the Filipino community and local dignitaries will join California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) faculty and representatives of the university’s 格特档案 and 特殊的集合 to celebrate the launch of the CSUDH Filipino American Digital Archive (FADA). The event, which will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. in the 档案 在五楼 of the 华南理工大学图书馆, will double as a chance for members of the local Filipino American community to bring in their own materials to add to the archive.
