I attended the CSUDH OSHA Advanced Health and Safety Certificate Training, which consist of at least seven major courses on Occupational Health and Safety. It was an experience I would never forget in a life time. The instructors were very informative, we were given the opportunity to ask questions, prepare our training slides and present before the class as prospective trainers.
Following the training, I acquired the qualification to be eligible to train construction industry workers on 10 and 30 hour construction HSE courses in accordance with OSHA outreach program requirements of which I was given a trainers card acknowledging me as an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer. This has taken me to a greater height of my career in Occupational Health and safety. I want to say big thanks to the Director of OSHA Training Institute Education Center at the California State University Dominguez Hills for giving me the total support to complete my course before coming back to Nigeria.
I want to encourage those of you who practice HSE as a profession and do not reside in the USA to try as much as possible to include HSE training at the California state university Dominguez Hills through the College of Extended and International Education."
